A New Chapter

There are certain moments that invite you to pause.

Not because you've reached the end of something, but because you realise you've quietly begun a new chapter.

As I sat down to write this, I found myself reflecting on just how much Woodland & Bloom has grown over the past year—not only in the milestones we've celebrated, but in the people we've met, the homes we've become part of, and the quiet rituals we've been invited to share.

When I first began Woodland & Bloom from my studio in Newcastle, I simply hoped to create beautiful fragrance that would bring comfort, calm and a sense of home. I never imagined that those small beginnings would one day lead us here.

Today, Woodland & Bloom is proudly stocked in eighteen beautiful boutiques across Australia and, for the very first time, the United States. Each new stockist represents more than another place to find our collections—it represents a relationship built on shared values, thoughtful craftsmanship and a belief that beautifully made things still matter.

This year also brought another unexpected honour. Being named a finalist in the 2026 Hunter Local Business Awards has been an incredibly humbling experience. While recognition is always appreciated, it has reminded me that the true measure of this business has never been awards or numbers. It has always been the connections we've made along the way.

One of the most meaningful milestones has been joining The Supply Yard. Becoming part of a carefully curated collective of Australian brands has introduced Woodland & Bloom to wonderful independent retailers who share the same appreciation for quality, authenticity and timeless design. Watching our collections find homes in more boutiques has been both humbling and deeply encouraging.

As Woodland & Bloom has grown, so too has the vision behind it.

For many years, fragrance has been at the heart of everything I created. Candles, diffusers and home fragrance remain where this story began, but over time I found myself dreaming about the rituals that surround them. Fresh flowers gathered from the market. A favourite apron tied on before baking. Bread still warm from the bakery. A quiet cup of tea by the window. The simple moments that make a house feel truly lived in.

Those quiet rituals became the inspiration for Hearth Living.

Rather than feeling like a new direction, Hearth Living feels like the natural continuation of the story we've been telling all along. A collection created with the same care, intention and love of craftsmanship that has always guided Woodland & Bloom.

As I look ahead, my hope is that Woodland & Bloom continues to grow slowly and thoughtfully—not simply by adding more products, but by creating collections that become part of your everyday life. Pieces that are used often, gifted generously and treasured for years to come.
